What exactly is FACT? FACT is the Fandom Association of Central Texas, Inc. We’re a Texas non-profit educational organization dedicated to the promotion of science fiction, fantasy, and speculative fiction. Our all-volunteer team has run over 45 events promoting imaginative and weird fiction, including over 45 ArmadilloCons, WesterCon 49, and the World Fantasy Convention in 2000 and again in 2006.
What do you know about ArmadilloCon? It was founded in 1979 by Willie Siros, who had previously founded AggieCon while he was at Texas A&M. We are very proud of the array of guests we have had over the years. Please do take a look at the history of FACT and over on the ArmadilloCon website.
